A full page in the last national magazine still publishing rates costs $44,331 gross on the 2026 Reader's Digest card.[1] Nearly every other title quotes on request. Regional and local pages sell for far less, and almost nobody pays the printed card: earned rates settle below it through negotiation.

Benchmarks: published cards on file only

Enter the price on the proposal in front of you. The desk positions it against a published rate card from the rate ledger, not an invented industry average.

Why so few benchmark cards? Because almost nobody publishes rates anymore. Every card here is a real document with a retrieval date in the rate ledger. Quote-only sellers never get invented numbers on this site.

Reader's Digest full page 4C, 2024 card$76,301[2]
Reader's Digest full page 4C, 2026 card$44,331[1]
Reader's Digest half page 4C, 2026 card$27,710[1]
RD Large Print half page 4C, 2026 card$11,700[1]

Bars are published gross open rates from media kits on file, not estimates. The 2024 to 2026 full-page drop tracks the rate-base cut from 2,400,000 to 1,400,000 copies; the CPM barely moved.

What the one published national card implies per thousand readers

Reader's Digest 2026: full page 4-color at $44,331 gross against a published rate base of 1,400,000 copies.[1]

$44,331 / 1,400 thousand copies = $31.67 CPM

The 2024 card ran $76,301 against 2,400,000 copies, a $31.79 CPM.[2] The page price fell 42% because the audience did. Price per thousand held. That is how print actually reprices: circulation first, card second.
