Advertising in People magazine
Straight status: quote-only. People's owner sells print by proposal and publishes no rate card[1], so every specific dollar figure circulating for a People page is somebody's estimate. This desk prints none. What follows is what a buyer can actually verify and use.
Who sells it and how
People is the flagship of Dotdash Meredith, rebranded People Inc in August 2025, and its print is sold by the house ad-sales team, normally packaged with the digital network.[1] Expect the proposal to lead with a bundle; if you want the print line priced separately, ask for it broken out, in writing. The house's posture and portfolio are profiled at the seller page.
The circulation evidence
People remains one of the largest audited consumer weeklies in the US. Do not take that sentence on faith, ours or anyone's: pull the current AAM publisher's statement[3] and read the rate base, the paid vs verified split and the trend, per Step 06. A weekly's statement also shows per-issue variance; the celebrity-news cycle moves newsstand hard.
Realistic entry points
A full-run national page in People sits at the top of consumer print pricing, wherever the quote lands. Below it: geo and demographic editions sold through Media Now Interactive put your ad in People's regional slices at regional money[2], and ready materials plus a standing standby offer can catch unsold weekly inventory (Step 04; weeklies generate remnant constantly by construction).
